Spanner Set

Allen Key Set

 

 

How To:

 

Tools equipped, open your first bonnet lifter packaging and check that you have 2 of every item per lifter + 4 washers -

Take one of the pivoting fixings and screw it tight onto the base [thicker] end of the bonnet lifter -

[Personal choice in the direction of travel can be applied]

Open your bonnet and prop open using the standard strut bar.

Locate at which point the top part of the lifter is secured to the bonnet and remove the OE bolt with the hex key -

With the bolt removed, replace it with the remaining pivoting fixture and a washer, then tighten with a spanner [12mm here] -

Locate where the base of the lifter secures to the inner wing in the engine bay and remove the OE wing bolt -

Line up the bonnet lifter with the pivoting fixture at the bottom, to where it you have just removed the previous bolt. Thread the pivoting fixture into the wing with a washer and tighten it up with suitable spanner.

 

Release the bonnet from the standard strut and open the bonnet to the point where the top end of the lifter lines up to the pivoting fixture you earlier installed to the side of the bonnet. Either using a prop [head] or a helper to hold the bonnet in this position [as the OE strut bar is too short], rotate the inner section of the lifter into the thread of the pivoting fixture until tight -

 

 

Simply repeat the process for the other lifter...

Punto mk1 nu are asa ceva.. acest topic este un tutorial in limba engleza despre cum iti poti monta si tu asa ceva .. cum are Alfa ;)

la fel,dar poti pune aceste "amortizoare" si nu mai ai nevoie de picorus,impingi un pic capota-n sus si aia e

a facut cineva aceasta operatiune, ce dimensiune trebuie sa aiba telescoapele, pe mine ma interesa de mult sa fac asta dar fara succes. Daca are cineva asa ceva as vrea si eu niste poze sa ma lamuresc mai bine.

salut,eu am luat kitul din UK dar abia se gasesc,o sa fac niste poze mai clare zilele astea si le postez aici

pe mine m-ar interesat puncetele de prindere daca le poti poza si dimensiunea pistoanelor deschise si inchise , ca pistoane imi iau de la dezmembrari ca nu le vreu cromate ...

pai nu vreau cromate fiindca sunt scumpe si nu am bani pentru mofru asta al meu. Imi iau negre de la dezmebrari cum sunt la portbagaj.
