Mopar "on board" the new Alfa Romeo Giulia:

  • An assortment of exclusive accessories for the most eagerly awaited car of the year.
  • A rich Mopar collection inspired by the new logo.
  • Mopar Owner Centre is the after-sales platform active in 21 countries of the EMEA region.
  • Alfa InfoMore is the service managed by Mopar Customer Care available throughout Europe.

Mopar, the reference brand for accessories, services, Customer Care and original spare parts for the FCA brands, offers about 80 accessories for the new Giulia - gradually becoming available already starting from the launch - that will satisfy the aesthetic, functional and safety needs of Alfa Romeo's customers, who have always been looking for a product that combines sportiness with elegance.

Some of the distinguishing elements are made of carbon fibre, such as the front V-shaped radiator grille, the mirror covers, the gear lever knob and the illuminated kick plates that add character and lightness to the New Giulia. Another of the elements designed to add even more personality to the already sporty lines of the car is the aerodynamic kit, consisting of front aerodynamic profile, side skirts and rear aerodynamic extractor. Embellishing the car even further are the customised door lights with LED projectors, the key covers available in the three-layer car colours (white or red), the tyre valve caps with Alfa Romeo logo, the aluminium oil filler and fuel caps, the alloy rims specially developed and available in the three sizes of 17, 18 and 19 inches.

Practicality enhanced by other accessories: the handy folding container for the luggage compartment, the protective semi-rigid tub for the loading compartment and the passenger compartment mats made of elegant plastic to better protect the car and keep it clean. Then of course there are the towing hook and roof bars so that different transport solutions can be used, such as the roof box, ski carrier, windsurf board carrier, kayak carrier and bike carrier.

Completing the collection is a number of active and passive safety devices such as the parking sensors, anti-theft wheel bolts, battery tender and the tested and approved child's seats to ensure safety and comfort at the highest levels.

The new Alfa Romeo collection

Mopar has considered not only the car, but also those who drive it and those who simply admire it. And so a new Alfa Romeo collection that centres around the brand logo with its renewed graphic components has been created. Aimed at a demanding and dynamic customer, the exclusive line was designed along with Alfa Romeo Centro Stile and consists of quality technical products made with high performance materials such as carbon, aluminium and Nycroteh.  The Alfa Romeo collection is made up of several lines: from clothing, with polo shirts and sweatshirts in a technical material distinguished by the colourful logo in a rubberised material, to the accessories line with specific men's wallets and key cases, to the leather goods, including a unisex briefcase in technical material and leather with brushed metal finish.

Mopar displayed the new products during the presentation to the international media. The wallet, made of black leather and technical fabric personalised with the new struck and lacquered aluminium Alfa Romeo logo and the cuff links with the brand's emblem are typically masculine. Available for the ladies are a bracelet and a necklace with pendant made together at the Alfa Romeo Centro Stile and that draw their inspiration from the radiator grille detail. It is forged from Nycrotech, a material obtained from a special heat treatment, laser sintering, and embellished with the aluminium Alfa Romeo logo. The 2 and 4 cm-thick bracelets and carbon ring with logo are unisex.

  • Specific accessory range.
  • Mopar® Vehicle Protection: a range of services for carefree travelling.
  • Customer care: information and roadside assistance 24 hours a day, on the phone and dedicated apps.
  • myFiatProfessional: the reserved area packed with exclusive contents and dedicated promotions.
  • Distinctive merchandise for motorists who use their vehicle intensively and extensively.

The entire Fiat Professional line-up is being introduced to the European media in these days in Turin. Mopar - the FCA Group reference brand for services, Customer Care, genuine spare parts and accessories - is attending the prestigious event with a large array of products offered to customers, both at the time of purchase and in later stages, so they can personalise their vehicles with exclusive services and accessories.

Exclusive accessories for Fullback and Talento

For each Fiat Professional model, Mopar has made specific ranges of accessories that harmoniously blend with the technical and stylistic characteristics of the various vehicles so that they can be fully customised and their functional and styling contents can be enhanced.

Standing out amongst the accessories made for the Fiat Professional pick-up are those for the rear loading compartment. They are designed to best meet both work and leisure time needs of new customers. In particular, these include hard tops in three different configurations (with side pop-up or sliding windows, or without windows), two versions of rigid covers (for vehicles with and without the sport bar), three different types of soft covers and the new fullbox offering the loading compartment style and practicality. The stainless steel sport bar gives the vehicle a positively sporty touch.

The practical compartment linings should not be forgotten either. Both in the version with side protection (over rail) and in the one protection-free (under rail), they are must-have accessories for vehicles in this segment. As it was developed to go with the various types of covers, hard tops, fullboxes and the sport bar, the under rail version offers customers the possibility to personalise their vehicles in the best possible way.

The plug that carries the 12V current inside the compartment and the steel plates that prevent the load from moving and shifting even when the vehicle is travelling complete the range dedicated to the rear cargo bed.

The tow hook and roof rack offer customers the possibility to make optimum use of the vehicle in their leisure time with different solutions for transporting objects, such as the roof box, ski carrier, windsurf board carrier, kayak carrier and bike carrier.

Completing the range are the multitude of accessories that harmoniously blend with the technical and stylistic characteristics of the model: the kickplate personalised with the name of the vehicle, the side moulding protecting the doors (in the chrome version for Doble Cab vehicles and in matching body colour for the Club Cab versions), the chrome mirror covers, the rear parking sensors, the carpet mats in either the rubber or fabric version, the underbody skid plate, the fog lights with DRL function and the branded valve caps.

Transforming the Talento is the objective with which the range of about 160 accessories was conceived. They harmoniously integrate with the vehicle and meet the work and recreation needs of customers by offering targeted solutions in observance of the technical, stylistic and mechanical characteristics.

A wide assortment of accessories is available to adapt the various Talento versions - long or short wheelbase, high or low roof - to different needs: from internal wall linings to bed covers in wood or a non-slip material, from roof bars to aluminium or steel roof cargo baskets, from the rear ladders to the pipe carrier, and from the different types of tow hook to the carrying systems. The line of functional accessories also includes mobile phone and tablet holders installed on the dashboard so they are easier to reach, rubber or carpet mats, seat covers and sunshades.

A series of accessories that allows customers to protect and care for their vehicles has also been developed. It comprises splash guards, rear door guards, protective door handle shells, protective grilles for side and rear windows, fire extinguishers to keep under the seat, the volumetric alarm, rear camera and front and rear parking sensors.

Lastly, accessories for personalising the Talento are not to be forgotten: chrome door mirror shells, side footboards and branded valve caps.

Mopar® Vehicle Protection

Every agreement adapts to the customer's driving requirements, with different solutions that vary in duration and mileage.

In particular, for the new Fullback and Talento models, Mopar has planned a wide range of services that will assure you that your car will always be kept in perfect running order.

The Maximum Care warranty extension, for example, is conceived to cover all mechanical and electrical parts of the vehicle, and extends the warranty up to a maximum of 5 years, comprising the manufacturer's warranty.

The Easy Care scheduled maintenance plan, on the other hand, allows the price for the routine maintenance to be blocked for up to 5 years, thus assuring customers that all the servicing needed to take care of their cars will be performed.

The Mopar Vehicle Protection service agreements can be subscribed to when purchasing a new vehicle, and they can also be paid in instalments through the financial solutions of FCA Bank (only in some selected markets), as the customer prefers.

Easy Care can be purchased at any time before the first servicing is performed, while Maximum Care can be subscribed to within 24 (Talento) / 36 (Fullback) months from the date the vehicle is registered.

And the focus of this commitment is always and exclusively the customer with their vehicle.

100% street legal off-road Mopar personalisation

The Paris Show will witness the appearance, for the very first time in the EMEA Area, of two Jeep models, the Wrangler and Renegade vehicles, "Moparised" with upgrade off road kits. The preview is an important step for the brand from a strategic point of view, as it is not only an example of how accessories can be fitted in the after-sales phase, but instead it is a true complete and approved Mopar personalisation at the time of sale in the EMEA area.
Specifically, the Jeep stand will feature a Wrangler Rubicon - the most extreme, capable vehicle in the Wrangler range in terms of off-road performances- enhanced by the specific MoparONE pack. In detail, the vehicle features a Hyper Green exterior, black leather interior and special stickers for the doors with the phrase 'WSL powered by Jeep', in honour of the global collaboration with the World Surf League (WSL), which, for the second year running, sees the Jeep brand as the exclusive partner of WSL in the world of motoring.
To enhance the off-road performances of the Rubicon, the vehicle has been enhanced with the MoparONE kit, the special personalisation pack which can soon be purchased by customers and includes a 2" lifting kit, steering damper, guard plates and black aluminium 17" alloy wheel rims with larger Hankook Dynapro 265/75 R17 tyres. This special pack by Mopar transforms the Wrangler Rubicon into the first 100% street legal "Moparised" vehicle for off-road conditions: a vehicle equipped with approved accessories and lifting kit to enhance its off-road performance. The Wrangler, enhanced with the MoparONE kit will soon be available in the EMEA region on the 2-door and 4-door Rubicon models.
Black light-bar with halogen lights for off-road conditions, hood scoop, front grille, fuel cap and lateral tubular platforms, as well as mirror caps and interior decorative elements, half front doors wrapped in the same colour as the bodywork and front and rear mud flaps complete the look of this "Moparised" Rubicon model which further affirms the unique personality of the iconic Wrangler.
The Jeep Wrangler Rubicon with the MoparONE pack has a 2.8 litre 200 HP turbo diesel engine with 5-gear automatic transmission.
The second "Moparised" SUV Jeep on display in Paris is a Renegade Longitude sporting exterior in Solar Yellow with 'US army star' stickers on the black boot and the doors, as well as matt black mirror caps and front grille. Additionally, to accentuate the off-road personality of the compact SUV by Jeep, this vehicle has been fitted with a special Mopar personalisation pack, which includes a 1" suspension lifting kit, and larger All-season tyres.
The Solar Yellow Jeep Renegade on display in Paris is equipped with a 2.0 litre 140 HP Multijet II diesel engine, and supplied with 6-gear manual transmission and the 4x4 Jeep Active Drive system.
To sum up, the MoparONE kit is available in two different versions: for the Wrangler and for the Renegade, offering specific contents, based on the model, which are capable of further enhancing the off road characteristics, guaranteeing a 100% street legal vehicle.

A range of exclusive accessories for Fiat, Alfa Romeo and Jeep models

Mopar offers its customers a wide range of accessories, constantly updated and made-to-measure for the Group's vehicles. The products available in the catalogue are unique because they have been developed in as part of a direct partnership with the design platform of the vehicle to which they are dedicated: a solid link that not all the companies in the aftersales sector are able to guarantee.
At the Motor Show in Paris, the public will be able to admire a selection of accessories mounted on Fiat 500X, Fiat 124 Spider America, Alfa Romeo Giulia, New Giulietta and MiTo vehicles: just a small but significant sample of the many products created for each model, which harmoniously blend with the technical and stylistic characteristics of the various cars, enabling them to be fully customised.
In particular, the new limited edition Fiat 124 Spider America special series offers, thanks to its Mopar contents, a number of exclusive and highly recognisable accessories that underline its vintage identity: the rear luggage rack and 17" lightweight alloy wheel rims in a retro design, in addition to satin finish caps and a limited edition 124 gold badge on the grille. There is also room on the stand for the Fiat 500X, in the Cross Plus version, embellished by black mirror caps and diamond wheel rims from the rich Mopar range.
The star of the Alfa Romeo stand will be an example of the Giulia Quadrifoglio, characterised by stylish carbon accessories such as rear view mirror caps, front grille and illuminated door sill. The same level of exclusivity can also be found in the Mopar equipment mounted on the Giulietta Veloce on show, featuring rear carbon spoiler and mirror caps, specific skirts with Alfa red insert, oversized rear exhausts, LED courtesy lights on the front doors with Alfa Romeo logo projection and red Alfa "Veloce" badge. The Mito Veloce on show in Paris is also enhanced by a number of Mopar accessories, including 18" alloy wheel rims, red "Veloce" badge and red fog light bezels. Last but not least, the display wall by Mopar features various accessories dedicated to the 4C, Giulietta and Giulia models. For the latter, carbon mirror housing and door sills are available, as well as a carbon front grille, plus a key cover in two colours and many other refined touches.
At the Jeep stand, visitors can admire the Wrangler Rubicon and the Renegade Longitude with the respective MoparONE pack for off-road performances. On the vehicles on display, there are also many other accessories that can be sold singularly and meet all personalisation requirements.
For example, for Wrangler the half doors are available, and these can be matched with the soft or hard tops, making the vehicle suitable for all weather conditions. The interiors can also be personalised with an enhancement kit: indeed the front dash can be matched with the colour of the vehicle or customised with specific colours, leaving the customer maximum freedom of expression.
The Renegade on display, enhanced with the MoparONE pack, presents the front grille and mirror caps in elegant Matt Black, also available in other colours. There are also many variations available for the carrier system - from the ski carrier to the snowboard carrier, from the bike rack to the canoe rack - which make the Jeep model extremely versatile and able to adapt itself to the customer's different lifestyles.

The UconnectTM LIVE system, the last frontier in infotainment

For a few months now, the extraordinary functions and the development of the services of the UconnectTM system have come under the scope of the activities created by Mopar. In particular, the last frontier in infotainment is presented in the form of the UconnectTM LIVE services, a set of functions available for use on three devices with 5", 6.5" and 7" touchscreens (the latter being a brand new concept as it features a 7" HD display with "tablet effect"). All three UconnectTM LIVE devices share common elements: hands-free system with Bluetooth technology, voice recognition and many music options, in addition to a FM/AM radio service. The driver can connect their multimedia devices via USB or using the 3.5mm auxiliary jack, or stream music from a compatible smartphone using Bluetooth. The system is also equipped with an SMS reader for reading text messages received on compatible telephones using 'text to speech' technology. Instead, on request, a digital radio (DAB) and built-in 3D TomTom navigation system can also be provided.
The UconnectTM LIVE services - launched for the first time on the Fiat 500X in April 2015 - are outstanding. They enable the driver to view and monitor, via a touchscreen, a long series of applications that have been redesigned and re-adapted for use while driving, allowing them to remain concentrated on the road. Driver must download the UconnectTM LIVE app from the Apple Store or Google Play Store on their smartphone.
UconnectTM LIVE features three macro categories which contain the many applications available: "Infotainment", "Navigation" and "Saving&Efficiency". The first area provides direct access via touchscreen to TuneIn, the application that offers users access to over 100,000 internet radio stations all over the world; to Deezer, a web music service that offers access to more than 35 million tracks; to Reuters, in order to stay constantly updated on the latest news from around the world and to Facebook and Twitter, to remain constantly in touch with your friends. Finally, where present, it can also be used to access eco:Drive, the award-winning driving style app which enables users to slash fuel consumption by up to 16% and contributes to reducing CO2 emissions by providing driving tips in real time.
The "Navigation" category, available in the vehicles equipped with UconnectTM 5'' Radio Nav LIVE, UconnectTM 6.5'' Radio Nav LIVE and UconnectTM 7" HD Nav LIVE, offers the TomTom LIVE services with voice commands, and high quality traffic information. Thanks to the experience of TomTom in connected navigation, which includes the largest source of traffic information in the world, with over 100 million kilometres of traffic measurements collected every day, the trip becomes more efficient and the driver better-informed. Every two minutes, the navigation system is updated with the most recent traffic conditions. With a highly developed processing system, UconnectTM provides the fastest routes and the most accurate arrival time estimates. Besides real time information on traffic conditions, users are also provided with information on permanent and mobile Speed Trap positions where available, local TomTom Search&Go search services and real time weather forecasts.
Finally, through the "Saving&Efficiency" category it is possible to directly access my:Car and, thanks to real time warnings, receive reminders about maintenance procedures and gain access to an interactive user manual, all features that allow drivers to manage vehicle maintenance as efficiently as possible. When a smartphone is connected via Bluetooth, the most important warnings are automatically transferred onto the personal UconnectTM LIVE account, to make maintenance easier than ever.
Inside the Jeep stand, in front of the Mopar Garage, there will be a corner dedicated to the Uconnect LIVE connected services, containing an interactive totem enabling visitors to try out the Uconnect LIVE connected services and the oculi, offering them a 360° driving experience with Jeep Skills.

Top quality products in the FCA brands merchandising lines

Visitors to the Paris Motor Show can discover the new merchandising line dedicated both to the Fiat 500 and to the Alfa Romeo, Abarth and Jeep brands. Distributed by Mopar, the exclusive collections aim to convey and represent a lifestyle that is capable of charming even the most meticulous customers.
In particular, a store has been set up on the Fiat stand, with a focus on the line for the New 500, which meets the requirements of a young public always in hot pursuit of new ideas and exclusivity. Designed in partnership with the Style Centre, the collection spans from trendy objects, such as the sweatshirts with built-in earphones that allow the wearer to comfortably listen to their music, to more fashionable products, such as bags in technical fabric, characterised by exclusive patterns and the "power bank" which is useful for recharging your smartphone everywhere.
Space will also be set aside for the new Alfa Romeo collection, which centres around the brand logo with its renewed graphic components. The exclusive line features a selection of accessories designed specifically with the Alfa Romeo Style Centre, first class technical products made with high-performance materials such as carbon, aluminium or Nycroteh. Designed with a demanding, dynamic Customer in mind, the Alfa Romeo collection features various lines: from leather goods, such as the unisex briefcase made of technical fabric and leather with brushed metal finishes, to the accessories line, featuring men's wallets and specific key holders, and the clothing range, including a convertible jacket made of waterproof softshell with detachable windproof lining that can also be worn on its own.
During the exhibition, Abarth will present its new line of merchandising, inspired by the main components of the vehicles, making for fascinating graphics. A range including details which have always symbolised performance. The collection offers clothing perfectly in line with the Abarth style, yet different from that featured in the previous lines. Additionally, the store set up in the Abarth stand will also host various collections created in collaboration with prestigious brands, such as Breil and Kappa, and a preview of the collection dedicated to the latest addition to the family: the Abarth 124 Spider.

The Mopar brand is debuting six modified vehicle creations at the 2016 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show at the Las Vegas Convention Center, November 1-4. Mopar production and concept products have been used to transform Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep® and Ram vehicles and to demonstrate the Mopar brand's capacity to help owners bring to life a unique, personalized version of their ride.

"The Mopar customized vehicles speak to our ability to assist owners in creating a ride that fits the blueprint of their individual lifestyles," said Pietro Gorlier, Head of Parts and Service (Mopar), FCA - Global. "Our SEMA lineup highlights the parts and accessories we have available to bring vintage Mopar vehicles roaring to life, fuel family fun for all, equip off-roaders for trail adventures, and so much more. Our job at Mopar is to help customers to enhance their current rides, but also inspire our sister brands and customers to have fun, push boundaries and imagine new customization possibilities for the exceptional portfolio of FCA vehicles."

Including the six vehicles built specifically for the 2016 SEMA Show, a fleet of 14 Mopar-modified rides will fill the brand's 15,345-square-foot display. A small portion of the vast Mopar portfolio will be showcased, including 24 parts walls and hundreds of Mopar products.

Dodge Shakedown Challenger

The Dodge Shakedown Challenger weaves together design cues from the past and present to create a uniquely original Mopar creation. The blend of yesterday and today is distinctly visible through exterior and interior styling, but comes to throaty fruition under the hood, where new Mopar-powered products - to be revealed later on Tuesday during the Mopar SEMA press event - administer a jolt to the heart of the classic 1971 Challenger.

The Shakedown Challenger drives 485 horsepower to the pavement via a Viper Tremec T6060 six-speed transmission and is further augmented by a Mopar concept cold-air intake and Mopar custom dual exhaust with black powder-coated Mopar exhaust tips. The custom front and rear suspension is lowered, dropping the Shakedown Challenger closer to the road - or to the track - creating a capable performer versatile enough to tackle the street or Pro Touring/Drift-type motorsports competition. Braking power is supplied by Brembo-red SRT® Hellcat six-piston front brakes and four-piston rear brakes.

The merging of old-school muscle with the 21st century is quickly evident on the "Bitchin' Black" exterior, hung on a unique hand-built, one-off frame with a removable body. The Dodge Shakedown Challenger rolls on concept SRT Hellcat Slingshot-designed 19-inch by 9 1/2-inch front and 20-inch by 9 1/2-inch rear wheels, providing a "coiled" stance. A heritage-inspired 1971 Shaker hood scoop is added with help from select parts from the Mopar brand's modern-day Shaker hood kit, feeding fresh air to the HEMI® powerplant.

The Shaker hood scoop is accented on top with a black "Shakedown" badge outlined in red, tying in neatly with custom gloss-black and gloss-red stripes that hug the scoop and flow down to the fascia and also up and over the roof to the tail, extending around and underneath the valance.

The 1971 Dodge Challenger body is shaved, deleting the door handles, drip rails and fuel door, which is relocated to the trunk. The Dodge Shakedown Challenger incorporates concept front headlamps and taillamps from the 2017 Dodge Challenger "massaged" to mesh seamlessly with '71 Challenger proportions. The headlamp bezels are Satin Black, as are the housing and surround of the tail lamps, which feature lenses trimmed in red. The modern Challenger grille and surround also get the Satin Black treatment, set off by gloss-black grille bezels. Satin Black also colors the concept rear spoiler and chin spoiler, fog lamp bezels and mirror caps. Matching red Mopar 392 logo decals on the front fenders complete the exterior.

Heading inside, the iconic Dodge is further transformed with modern mods. Dodge Viper front seats are re-trimmed in black Katzkin leather bolstered by black Alcantara inserts and red stitching matching the embroidery on the Dodge Viper steering wheel, which features a custom satin black airbag cover and shroud. The black leather shift boot adds additional modern Challenger DNA, capped by an SRT Hellcat gearshift knob. Mopar instrument panel gauges are black, contrasted with the gloss carbon fiber instrument panel cluster trim. The center console, steering wheel trim and door panels are also gloss carbon fiber. A black "Shakedown" badge outlined in red is stamped on the dash.

The Shakedown's potential as a track performer is catered to with a custom roll bar and rear seat delete, replaced with netting and a console shelf for storing racing essentials. The fuel cell and lines are stored in the black-carpet lined trunk.

Jeep CJ66

Take a Jeep Wrangler TJ frame, hang a 1966 Jeep Wrangler CJ universal Tuxedo Park body on it, add in Wrangler JK elements and fuel it with new Mopar-powered products, and you've got the Jeep CJ66. The unique cocktail of three Jeep vehicle generations demonstrates that new Mopar power applications are also available for those more at home on the trail than the street.

The narrow-bodied Jeep CJ66 harnesses horsepower with a six-speed manual transmission. A Mopar engine cover shelters the powerplant and a Mopar cold-air intake and Mopar cat-back exhaust bump up off-road performance a notch or two. Front and rear Mopar Dana 44 Crate axles help the Wrangler easily crawl over rocks and boulders.

The painted, Copper Canyon-colored body pops, riding high on giant 35-inch BFG all-terrain tires paired with a two-inch lift kit. The BFGs are wrapped around functional, Jeep Performance Parts (JPP) 17-inch beadlock wheels that assist the rubber in negotiating the off-road, with custom beadlock rings painted to match the body color. A concept two-way air system allows off-roaders to quickly air up or air down tires to the desired pressure. Oversized, concept fender flares offer defense against trail obstacles at the front and rear, with added protection delivered by Mopar 10th Anniversary Wrangler JK Rubicon Bumper Kits, JPP skid and front bumper plates and concept JPP rock rails custom cut to fit the Wrangler CJ body.

The Copper Canyon skin is highlighted on both sides with a custom matte-black CJ66 graphic stripe that runs along the side of hood. The concept hood, bezel and latch are also colored matte black, along with the iconic seven-slot Jeep grille and bezels of the Wrangler JK headlamps. Mopar LED amber fog lamps and a Mopar Warn winch, with a fair lead adapter to guide the winch cable, augment the CJ66's off-road capabilities. The custom, race-car-inspired fuel filler cap is shifted to the inside fender wheel well.

Looking out from the two-inch cropped windshield, the driver and passenger are perched in custom Viper seats featuring concept seat risers. The cockpit is surrounded by a custom-built roll cage, mandril-bent to match the windshield surround. A bikini top netting offers shade and cover from the elements. The center of the custom steering wheel, stamped with the special 50th Anniversary Moab Easter Jeep Safari logo unveiled by the Jeep brand earlier this year, reveals the CJ66's Moab-inspired origins. A Wrangler JK center console and shifter were imported, with Mopar instrument panel gauges and Mopar all-weather mats completing the interior.

Dodge Durango Shaker

As if the already aggressive styling, performance and driving dynamics of the Dodge Durango aren't enough to make enthusiasts quake, Mopar "shook up" the Dodge Charger of the SUV segment for SEMA by creating the Dodge Durango Shaker concept.

The B5 Blue three-row SUV gets in your face fast with a custom-fabricated, functional Shaker Hood - the first-ever for a Dodge Durango - embellished with matte-black graphic accents that run from the hood to the roof. In the performance department, the custom Shaker hood feeds a 6.4-liter HEMI engine mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission, with further upgrade courtesy of a functional Mopar cold-air intake. In another Dodge Durango first, the rumble of the Shaker is delivered by customized chrome Mopar cat-back dual exhausts located in the center of the vehicle, replacing standard side exhausts. SRT six-piston big brakes and rotors, cooled by functional brake ducts in the front, rein in the Dodge Durango Shaker.

The Dodge Durango Shaker, dropped 3 inches closer to the street courtesy of a custom lowering kit, sits menacingly on concept Satin Black 22-inch x 10 1/2-inch Mopar wheels protected by custom fender flares. The crosshair grille is replaced with an open grille design for better breathing, and an aerodynamic Satin Black chin splitter projects out from the fascia.

Additional modifications include Satin Black side sills, B5 Blue mirror caps and a B5 Blue custom rear spoiler that helps plant the Durango's rear to the pavement. The Durango Shaker turns to a sibling from the Dodge brand lineup for a unique closing exterior touch - a custom Dodge Challenger fuel filler door, cut from the quarter panel of a Challenger and transplanted to the Durango.

The interior also boasts what is undoubtedly another first for Dodge brand's SUV - three rows of Viper seats, trimmed in Katzkin leather with B5 Blue stitching. The performance flat-bottom steering wheel comes from a Dodge Charger SRT. The center console and entertainment center console bezels are also colored B5 Blue, and a unique console shifter replaces the standard rotary knob. Mopar accessories include remote start, EVTS system, bright door sill guards, wireless charging, pedal kit and an emergency kit.

Ram Macho Power Wagon

The Ram Macho Power Wagon owes its moniker to a popular Power Wagon trim level from the 1970s, and the heavy-duty pickup lives up to its audacious namesake. The Mopar-modified Ram is a bold take on the Power Wagon's reputation for off-road capability with added versatility delivered by Mopar concept and production products.

That adaptability is showcased in the 6-ft. x 4-in. bed of the Macho Power Wagon, where a Mopar concept Satin Black accessory sliding RamRack securely stores toys to fit a variety of lifestyles. The Ram Rack is designed to neatly slide up and stow under the cab's sail panel when not in use. The bed rack works in concert with a RamRack roof system that locks down items with six unique tie downs.

The Ram Macho Power Wagon is elevated by a four-inch custom lift kit and giant 37-inch x 12 1/2-inch Nitto Trail Grappler MT tires, set on concept 18-inch beadlock wheels. The vibrant Macho Mango body color, which also extends to the beadlock wheel rings, is accented with painted black graphics on the side and rear. The concept, aggressive hood is Satin Black, and a new front bumper is equipped for the trail with a winch, winch guard and tow hooks.

Further exterior customizations include one-piece Mopar concept off-road running boards, larger concept fender flares, low-gloss black door handles and a 21-inch heavy-duty light bar and LED clearance lights on the roof. Both front and rear bumpers integrate painted, bright silver skid plates and tow hooks. Black "RAM" lettering on the grille and body sides is outlined in Macho Mango.

Macho Mango also brightens the interior, coloring the steering wheel Ram logo and the trim on the gauges, HVAC, infotainment center and side door panels. Interior Mopar accessory upgrades include wireless charging, a pedal kit, front and rear all-weather mats and "RAM"-letter logo sill guards. Under the Macho Power Wagon's hood is a 6.4-liter HEMI engine paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. A Mopar cold-air intake injects added performance and concept, dual-wall five-inch Mopar exhaust tips are black-powder coated and provide a deeper note.

Ram ProMaster Pit Stop

Ram Commercial's Class 2 full-size van is "highly customizable," which puts it right in the Mopar brand's wheelhouse, resulting in the cleverly modified, entertainment-ready Ram ProMaster Pit Stop.

ProMaster Pit Stop is Mopar-customized with a hinged door on the driver's side, outfitted in Mopar graphics, that swings open towards the roof. A drop-down bar counter hinges and opens out from the side as well, and the best-in-class cargo width between the wheel wells of the ProMaster has been modified with keg refrigeration capacity to serve cold, thirst-quenching beverages from four on-board taps. Of course, ordinary taps wouldn't suffice - Mopar T-handle, billet aluminum, cue ball and pistol grip shifters help dish out drinks. An added "Brewmaster" badge is appropriate, as Mopar stools stored in the cargo area can be placed out front to quickly create a soda shop (or pub) on wheels.

The front-wheel-drive Pit Stop rides on Mopar concept 20-inch Satin Black lightweight wheels highlighted by machined accents, with aggressive, blistered-out wheel flares on guard. The fascia is simplified and the grille, featuring a unique open texture, is modified with concept "RAM" lettering. The passenger-side sliding door carries the Mopar colors, with Mopar logos on the windshield as well as the bodyside, along with checkered-flag "Pit Stop" graphics. The front and rear fascia have been modified from standard black to match the white body color.

Power comes from the best-in-class, standard 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine. The interior is upgraded with premium Katzkin leather seats, while in the cargo area, a slotted board displays Mopar gear, including vintage neon signs. ProMaster Pit Stop is packed with Mopar accessories, including LED lights, a full-size cargo mat, a walk-through, all-weather mat, D-pillar grab handles, splash guards, a receiver hitch, running board and more.

Chrysler Pacifica Cadence

Mopar pulled generously from its portfolio of more than 100 accessories available for the Pacifica to customize the Chrysler brand's family-room-on-wheels and to create the Chrysler Pacifica Cadence concept. The all-new minivan's bold styling is tweaked with custom Mopar graphics wrapped on the quarter panel and rear of the white exterior, expressing the vehicle's active lifestyle, paddleboarding theme. A collage of Mopar Omega M logos liven up the hood. In addition to convenient interior storage options, such as Stow 'n Go cargo bins, a Mopar/Thule paddleboard/surfboard carrier is added on top to transport a large 9-foot paddleboard re-branded with Mopar graphics.

Production Mopar 20-inch wheels are tri-color, tinted in Satin Black and Gloss Black tones with a Mopar blue accent on a single wheel pocket. The center cap is customized with a Mopar blue "Omega M" logo that matches the blue pocket accents. A Mopar running board provides a lift into the Pacifica and molded rear splash guards are adorned with the Chrysler logo.

Mopar also splurged on accessories on the inside of the Pacifica Cadence. A pet kennel safely allows four-legged family friends to join in the fun. Wireless charging powers up mobile devices and a Chrysler-logoed first aid kit is available for emergency duty. Chrysler logo door sill guards, all-weather floor and cargo mats and a light duty vinyl mat for the second row complete the Mopar accessory upgrades.

New digital and interactive content for Mopar after sales

Digital communication of the aftersales products and services from Mopar is increasingly aligned with customers' needs. Interactive pages will soon be available online to show the full Mopar range dedicated to some of the models from Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Lancia, Jeep and Fiat Professional. This tool will enable users to access all online services dedicated to drivers and their cars, such as find-a-service-centre, catalogues of genuine parts and merchandising collections from the Brands' online shops. A service configurator will enable customers to personalise scheduled maintenance services and Mopar Vehicle Protection extended warranties, access a reserved area with exclusive customised promotions, and discover Uconnect's services.

The landing page of the Fiat 500X can be accessed at www.fiat.it/my500Xduring the Motor Show in Bologna.

In tune with the new "At your service" tag-line, the corporate Mopar.eu website will soon unveil its new graphics to better serve customers, dealers and workshops. As customers increasingly use Internet as their main source of information, the website will reorganize contents to show the world of Mopar with greater simplicity, clarity and interaction. For example, Mopar.eu will enable easy access to the Dealer Locator to help customers find the nearest dealer, will alert a dedicated support team of any problem or help discover accessories designed for FCA vehicles. There will also be areas dedicated to maintenance, genuine parts, warranty plans and the entire range of after sales products and services from the FCA Group. With a few clicks, users will be able to discover the after sales content from the individual brands of the Fiat Chrysler Automobiles group; they will be able to select their brand and country for a customised experience which is perfectly integrated with the FCA brands' websites. The corporate website also offers easy access to the Reserved Area, with exclusive services and offers for the owners of Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Lancia, Jeep, Abarth and Fiat Professional vehicles.

The Mopar.eu website will be available in Italian from December 2nd, and soon also in English, French, German and Spanish.

In line with its mission as Official Service Partner of all Fiat Chrysler Automobiles brands, in 2016 MOPAR started a loyalty scheme in Italy, Germany, Spain and France, based on personalised communication for the given vehicle and brand, which informs customers on maintenance needs linked to the age of their vehicle and offers promotions an original parts, maintenance and servicing as well as custom discounts on Mopar® Vehicle Protection assistance contracts.

In Italy, the scheme resulted in 140,000 additional annual visits to Fiat, Lancia, Alfa Romeo and Jeep Authorised Service Centres during 2016.

Mopar Express Care (MEC)

Outside the Motor Show, near the test drive area, visitors can explore Mopar Express Care (MEC), the innovative Mopar service that enables the official FCA assistance network to repair customers' vehicles or install accessories in full mobility, wherever the customer may be, at home or in the office. "At your service": three simple words enclose all the world of Mopar, the Official Service Partner for all Fiat Chrysler Automobiles brands, which offers the best products and services for maintaining, enhancing and customising vehicles. All operations and genuine spare parts and accessories comply with the highest quality and safety standards.

Mopar is by the customers' side throughout their driving experience promising to help them with whatever they need. "At your service" is the new tagline that marks an evolution in the positioning of the brand and will appear on all communications - corporate, service and product - across the EMEA Region. An exciting new video that shows how the brand is always at the customer's service http://video.moparpress-europe.com/p/it/en/mopar/post/30990 will be kicking it all off.

"It means being at the customer's complete service, throughout the experience they have chosen to live with us" summed up Santo Ficili, Head of EMEA Mopar Service, Parts & Customer Care.  "With the 'At your service' tagline we promise to respond to their needs and realise their ambitions becoming their faithful travel mate and powerful ally".

In 2012, with the "More care for your car" claim, Mopar focused on the vehicle. Today, the new "At your service" strapline clearly and directly expresses how the mission of Mopar has evolved with the goal of making its expertise and professionalism available to customers. The campaign made its debut at the international Motor Show in Bologna where the brand set up its own stand packed with customisations, products and services for the first time.

More in detail, Mopar is offering a full range of accessories made to measure for the vehicles of the Group. The products in the catalogue are unique because they were developed by working directly with the design team of the vehicle. In tune with the "At your service" tagline, the corporate Mopar.eu website will soon be going live with new graphics to better serve customers, dealers and workshops. Contents will be reorganised to present the Mopar world and values in simple, clear and interactive terms. For example, Mopar.eu will provide easy access to the Dealer Locator to help customers find the nearest one, will report problems to a dedicated support team and provide help to discover the accessories designed for FCA vehicles. There will also be areas dedicated to maintenance, genuine parts, warranty plans and the entire range of FCA aftersales products and services. Aftersales information dedicated to single FCA brands and the Reserved Area, with exclusive services and offers for the owners of Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Lancia, Jeep, Abarth and Fiat Professional vehicles, will be just a few clicks of the mouse away.

The Mopar.eu website will be available soon in Italian, English, French, German and Spanish.

Furthermore, in authorised workshops, customers will find quick and expert repairs and servicing knowing that they can rely on the quality of genuine spare parts. In addition to the very high level of professionalism of operators and the superior quality of all products used, the FCA network can depend on the efficiency of the 21 Mopar Parts Distribution Centres present in the EMEA Region for prompt supplies. This is demonstrated, for example, by the World Class Logistic Bronze level assigned in 2015 to the Distribution Centre of Volvera near Torino.

Customer Care is another strength of Mopar. The operators of the Customer Services Centre in Arese, among others, answer questions, solve the problems of FCA customers in 22 countries and speak 25 different languages. All this and more under the sign of transparency and rapidity.

To ensure driving pleasure and total peace of mind, Mopar offers Mopar® Vehicle Protection service contracts which comprise a wide and flexible range of extended warranties and service plans that can be transferred if the vehicle is sold. Each plan offers different options in terms of duration and mileage and is designed to meet the different driving requirements of the individual customers, ensuring that the vehicle works as efficiently as possible on the long run.

The Mopar brand celebrates 80 years of evolution at the NAIAS in Detroit:

  • The Mopar brand turns eighty in 2017.
  •  An exhibition at the NAIAS opens the year-long celebrations.
  • The evolution of a brand that has developed from antifreeze products to global service and from parts to customer care.
  • Mopar reaches customers in more than 150 markets worldwide, with over 500,000 products.
  • Mopar accompanies all FCA vehicle owners throughout the customer journey.

In 2017 the Mopar brand, launched in 11 August 1937 as a shortened form of the words "Motor Parts", celebrates its eightieth birthday, marking an amazing history extending over eight decades. First introduced as the name of a line of antifreeze products, the Mopar brand has since transformed to encompass total service, parts and customer care for FCA vehicle owners around the globe.

"The Mopar brand holds an unparalleled place in the automotive world, possessing name recognition, scope of service and passionate enthusiasts unmatched by any other service and parts organization in the industry," said Pietro Gorlier, Head of Parts and Service (Mopar), FCA - Global. "From humble beginnings as a simple name for antifreeze products, now the Mopar brand reaches customers in over 150 markets offering parts, service and innovative care throughout the whole customer journey".

After its introduction in 1937, the Mopar brand quickly began to stand for more than just antifreeze. The brand made a name for itself in the muscle-car era of the 1960s, cementing a legacy on the streets and at the dragstrip that by decade's end would have owners referring to their vehicles as "Mopar" cars.

Over the last decade, Mopar has pegged the needle in its push to transform into a global service, parts and customer-care brand for all FCA vehicle owners. In 2008, Mopar Express Lane service, offering fast oil changes and more, was introduced at dealerships, with more than 1,000 operational today in the United States, and more than 1,750 open in more than 20 countries around the world.

Construction is in progress on two new Mopar Parts Distribution Centers (PDCs) in the United States, adding to the brand's current network of more than 50 PDCs established to service the more than 500,000 products in the Mopar portfolio.

In the last decade, Mopar has blazed a trail with a number of industry firsts, including the first smartphone vehicle-information apps, in-vehicle wireless charging and factory-connected tablet technology in the service lane via Mopar wiADVISOR. The Mopar brand also introduced a series of limited-edition Mopar vehicles built at the factory, beginning with the Mopar '10 Challenger. A new special-edition Mopar vehicle has been introduced each year since, the most recent being the Mopar '16 Ram Rebel, with 3,650 limited-run Mopar vehicles sold since that first in 2010.

On the product side, in conjunction with the Jeep® brand, Mopar created a new Jeep Performance Parts line to deliver trail-ready parts to off-roaders. In late 2016, new Mopar Crate HEMI® Engine Kits were brought to market, enabling enthusiasts to drop modern HEMI power into classic, 1975 or earlier, rides.

Celebrating 80 Years of Mopar

Throughout 2017, the Mopar brand will mark its 80th year with a large slate of initiatives, including limited-edition anniversary vehicles, 80th anniversary-themed service, parts and customer-care offers for customers, special merchandise, events, celebrations and much more.

The celebrations will get underway at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) 2017, now running in Detroit until 22 January. Befitting the brand's global expansion, media and industry leaders from around the world will have the opportunity to experience the start of the Mopar brand's yearlong birthday party and to view the 80th anniversary-themed Mopar Garage NAIAS display.

Mopar: a decades-long success story now extended to Europe

Starting in 2012, the Mopar brand is now also operating in Europe, supporting all FCA brands as the only partner that knows each model in detail and takes care of all customers' needs, both during purchase and after sales, to personalise the vehicle with exclusive services and accessories.Today, its mission is summed up by the new tag-line "At your service", marking a shift in the brand's positioning, which will appear on all corporate communications, services and products. After all, Mopar's history is all about the brand's ability to provide peace of mind, by looking after FCA cars and light commercial vehicles, and the people driving them in particular.A trusted partner that accompanies the Customer in every phase of the purchasing and owner experience, guaranteeing an extremely high quality range of services, state-of-the-art technologies and innovative products for personalising their vehicle, without compromising on quality and safety, validating each original Mopar part or accessory.

The birth of Mopar in the United States

In 1937, six years after the creation of the Chrysler Motors Parts Corporation plant at the corporate complex at Highland Park, in Michigan, an in-house team of marketing experts was asked to invent a name for the antifreeze used in Chrysler cars. Mopar was that name.

One of the first presentations of the Mopar name to the public occurred when Chrysler was asked to provide a float for a parade that opened the annual Shriner's convention, held in 1937 in Detroit.  So the company built a camel 3 metres high, made entirely of car parts, carrying two signs on the side identifying it as: "Mr. Mopar." A small "mechanical man" named ACCY (for accessories) was placed on the float as if leading the camel.

The '40s and beyond

The war years in the 1940s saw Mopar and Chrysler shift production to military parts, weapons and vehicles. Like all major manufacturers, resources were dedicated to victory in WWII. By mid-decade, after the war, Mopar moved into a building on Jefferson Avenue in Detroit, and soon after in 1947, the Master Tech training program was launched to give Chrysler technicians the best skills possible.

In 1953, Mopar grew in both number of plants nationwide and in number of available parts. The Center Line, Michigan, Mopar Parts Depot opened with much fanfare, a sprawling and bustling parts center that still flourishes. Today, the facility houses more than 1,300 employees and more than 16.5 million parts are shipped out annually from the Center Line complex.

With the birth of the HEMI engine, Chrysler Group race cars hit tracks, launching the high-performance theme that would soon set the tone for the next "personality" of the Mopar brand.

Mopar in the high-performance '60s and '70s

As the 1960s progressed, so did Mopar. Electrical items and glass products were added to the Mopar parts line, and racing was becoming the measure of production cars. Chrysler introduced the 1962-64 Max Wedge performance engines and package cars, and America's love for horsepower took off.

Meanwhile, a group of Chrysler engineers calling themselves the Ramchargers had been working nights and weekends to make their project cars faster at the track. The high-performance parts they developed led to the Mopar Direct Connection brand of racing parts. Direct Connection parts were first given only to professional racers, but later sold to anyone who wanted to dominate at the track. One racer who took notice was "Big Daddy" Don Garlits, an innovator, icon and champion in drag racing who became a lifelong brand ambassador for Mopar. The Garlits and Mopar names stayed intertwined throughout his legendary, record-setting career.

Winning at the track meant sales in the showroom, and Chrysler and its package cars were winners. The ultimate race engine, the 426 HEMI, took tracks by storm in 1964, followed by a takeover of the streets with the 426 Street HEMI in '66. By the late '60s and early '70s, proud Chrysler, Dodge and Plymouth performance enthusiasts had adopted the word Mopar to describe any and all of their vehicles. And the competition learned to fear the name.

The last package cars of the era appeared in 1968, when Chrysler built a series of Dodge Dart and Plymouth Barracuda HEMI Super Stock cars. The legacy remains as these race vehicles are still among the quickest and fastest in the Super Stock categories of NHRA racing. Mopar honors these cars by sponsoring the special NHRA Mopar HEMI Challenge each year.

In the '70s, Mopar also became the first to offer a dedicated parts delivery system, setting a new standard of dealer service. The successful system was refreshed and revamped in the late 1990s.

More changes coming

The 1970s and '80s led to many changes in the auto industry with tightening emissions controls, gas shortages and the end of the muscle-car era. The Direct Connection line of Mopar performance parts launched for all performance enthusiasts, not just racers, and was later changed to Mopar Performance to capitalize on the strong Mopar heritage. By 1987, Chrysler purchased the assets of American Motors and the Jeep brand came into the family, resulting in the addition of Jeep parts and accessories to the expanding Mopar portfolio.

The Mopar Service and Parts Division was growing in new directions, with new goals and ambitions. What had previously been a name squarely aimed at parts and service was now being prepped to move into the new century as a brand that would represent parts, service and total customer care.

A new century begins

The 1990s were less about change and more about strengthening the Mopar foundation. Emphasis was doubled-down on technician training, utilizing programs like the Mopar College Automotive Program (CAP) introduced a few years earlier. In concert with community colleges around the country, the two-year training-internship CAP program supported by Mopar continues to produce the best skilled automotive technicians around.

By the time the new millennium rolled in, training and technology were key words at Mopar. The era also ushered in an updated design of the Mopar Omega M logo, cylinders fired on the new Gen III HEMI engine and Mopar deepened its motorsports participation.

Beginning to pivot to a world of globalization and high-technology vehicles, techniques and tools, Mopar was poised to be a leader in enhancing the customer experience.

Commitment to customer care

In 2008, Mopar unveiled its first Mopar Express Lane operation, a fast oil change and light service business model that would reshape how people viewed service visits to automotive dealerships. Quick turnaround, no appointments required and competitive pricing proved to be on target, and led to the opening of the 1,000th Mopar Express Lane operation in the United States in 2016.

Mopar stayed busy, working on technological innovations designed to improve the customer experience. A number of industry firsts were introduced, including the first smartphone vehicle-information apps for owners and wiTECH, a dealer software diagnosis program used by Mopar technicians to simplify the repair process.

In 2008, paying homage to its performance heritage, Mopar introduced its first factory-built "package car" in 40 years, called the Mopar Dodge Challenger Drag Pak. The 100 package cars sold out quickly, and new Drag Pak models have sold out in subsequent years.

In 2010, the brand produced the first of an ongoing series of limited-edition factory vehicles, the Mopar '10 Challenger. Production was limited to 500 of the vehicles, modified at the factory with Mopar parts and accessories. Other low-run, factory-produced Mopar rides would follow: the Mopar '11 Charger, Mopar '12 300, Mopar '13 Dart, Mopar '14 Challenger, Mopar '15 Dodge Charger R/T and Mopar '16 Ram Rebel.

A global brand

In recent years, Mopar has accelerated its transformation into a brand responsible for the customer journey of all FCA vehicles around globe. Embodying that customer-centric approach, a new "At Your Service" tagline was introduced. By 2016, more than 1,750 Mopar Express Lane locations were operational in more than 20 countries around the world. The brand has also shined on the biggest stages, making regular appearances at international auto shows.

Customers were given the option of adding Mopar accessories during the ordering process and having their vehicle delivered to the dealership with accessories installed and included on the window sticker through a network of 11 Mopar Custom Shops worldwide. The newest Mopar Custom Shops, in Mexico and Brazil, opened in late 2015. Construction began in 2016 on two new Mopar PDCs in the United States, soon to join the current network of over 50 PDCs in more than 20 countries, established to service owners and dealers across the globe.

The Mopar service experience was further enhanced in 2012 when Mopar service lanes were first to incorporate the use of wiADVISOR, a tablet-based service lane check-in tool that immediately downloads vehicle and customer data from the vehicle computer and connects with factory engineering databases to get customers in and out quickly.

While expanding globally, Mopar stayed true to its DNA by supporting drag racers in National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) competition, from Sportsman to professionals. The brand powered to back-to-back NHRA Pro Stock championships in 2012-2013. Mopar-sponsored Dodge Charger R/T fuel teams fielded by Don Schumacher Racing have dominated the NHRA Funny Car class, claiming four championships in the last six years and spearheading the capture of the NHRA Manufacturers Cup by the Mopar and Dodge brands in 2016.

Mopar continued to create parts and accessories to help owners design rides that suit their individual lifestyles. The brand introduced a popular new Jeep Performance Parts line to deliver trail-ready parts to off-roaders and, in late 2016, brought new Mopar Crate HEMI Engine Kits to market, enabling enthusiasts to drop modern HEMI power into classic vehicles from 1975 and earlier.

From its birth 80 years ago, Mopar now serves customers in more than 150 markets, provides total customer care and offers a portfolio of more than 500,000 parts and accessories - a long journey from its humble origins as an antifreeze brand.

Mopar-first Features

During the brand's 80 years, Mopar has introduced numerous industry-first features including:

  • Vehicle data management apps: the first adopter of vehicle data manage apps for smartphones, a new customer communication channel;
  • wiADVISOR: the first to provide a tablet-based service-lane tool;
  • Electronic Vehicle Tracking System (EVTS): the first to market a new interactive vehicle monitoring device able to send the owner an alert when the car is travelling too fast or too far on the basis of preset parameters;

Mopar's digital platforms have been restyled and online booking - to make an appointment with authorised workshops directly on-line - will soon be available. All this thanks to "At your service", the new communications tagline expressing the customer focus of Mopar products and services

Making its customers' digital experience more engaging, while offering them faster, more comprehensive services that are in line with the latest new technologies. This was the goal behind the restyling of the web platforms of Mopar, the global brand that accompanies FCA customers throughout their motoring experience, by providing technical services and support for all their performance, safety or customisation related needs.

Mopar's new institutional website (http://www.mopar.eu) is part of this restyling process, and today features an ultra-modern format. Mopar.eu is available in Italian, English, French, German and Spanish, and it features a new design that emphasises the aftersales products and services which Mopar dedicates to Fiat Chrysler Automobiles vehicle owners.

Specifically, the new interface, which has also been optimised for use on mobile devices, grants easy access from any device to an extensive array of information, ranging from the brand's history to service contracts, without neglecting the world of Genuine Spare Parts and personalisations which have turned Mopar into the reference FCA Brand for aftersales. What's more, the new-look website makes it even easier and more straightforward to browse through all the accessories available for one's car, find the nearest dealer or workshop or send a report to a team who is ready and willing to answer any queries or requirements.

By registering their vehicle on one of the "myBrand" platforms - the private areas accessible from the Fiat Chrysler Automobiles brand websites - owners and users can access a range of services, exclusive content and special promotions that, together with innovative tools, improve and make their experience with their car unique.

Online Booking, soon to be added to the services currently available, will allow FCA customers to make an appointment with authorised workshops directly on-line. This function is reserved for registered users and allows them to view the diaries of all dealers available for immediate booking, at the desired time and on the desired day. The "myBrand" areas are available in 16 countries: Italy, France, Spain, Germany, Poland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Greece, Denmark, Portugal, the UK, Austria, Ireland, Sweden, Switzerland and South Africa.

Mopar products and services will also be joining social networks from mid-March. In keeping with the "At your service" tagline, aftersales contents will be published on Fiat's, Alfa Romeo's and Jeep's Facebook, Instagram and Twitter pages. Thanks to this strategy, Mopar will be able to reach FCA customers more effectively with messages that better accommodate their requirements and needs.

The digital novelties described so far therefore constitute another leap forward in Mopar's brand strategy which, 80 years after its establishment in the United Sates, now renews and reinforces its promise to stand by its customers continuously, accommodating their needs and ambitions. The new "At your service" communications tagline expresses the customer focus of Mopar products and services. Indeed, thanks to its presence in over 150 different countries and to a network of authorised workshops at the cutting edge in terms of technical skills and support expertise, Mopar is in a position to provide the very best products and services in its category, from the exhaustive range of accessories and genuine spare parts, to service contracts and Customer Care. All this helps ensure impeccable care for both vehicle and driver, guaranteeing quality and safety in original products, made by the very people who designed and built the cars themselves. This makes Mopar the ideal trusted partner for all FCA vehicle owners.

Mopar® One Pack for Jeep Wrangler stars at the Harley-Davidson Festival in Saint-Tropez:

  • An original, exciting display installation promotes the Mopar accessories pack at the French event.
  • Mopar® One Pack is intended for the knowledgeable customer seeking both the most extreme off-road performances and a distinctive, unique style that makes the iconic Jeep Wrangler even more exclusive.
  • Factory-installed, the new Moparcustomisation pack gives enthusiasts access to safety and type-approval with the FCA guarantee.
  • Upcoming events include the European H.O.G Rally in Lugano (Switzerland, from 29 June to 2 July) and the European Bike WeekTM at Lake Faak (Austria, from 5 to 10 September)

The fantastic "Euro Festival" in Saint-Tropez (France), which has just ended, was the first of three major Harley-Davidson gatherings to be held in 2017 in which the legendary US motorbike constructor is joined, for the fourth consecutive year, by the Jeep brand as key partner and official sponsor for its main events in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Alongside them, another historic brand: Mopar, the brand of reference for services, Customer Care, spare parts and genuine accessories for the FCA brands.

Fittingly so, because Jeep and Harley-Davidson share the same world of deeply felt values, such as pride in driving an icon, a desire for freedom and a strong sense of belonging. These same core values are integral to Mopar, which has always partnered the Jeep brand in exploring the world of customisation, creating both one-off packages to stun visitors at showcase events and exclusive accessories to equip the various models. There could be no clearer example than the new Mopar® One Pack, which meets the demands of a customer who wants the most extreme off-road performances without losing any of the safety and type-approval characteristics guaranteed by FCA.

At the Saint-Tropez, the public were treated to the sight of a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon equipped with the high-performance Mopar® One Pack, displayed on a special concept stand. Exhibited on a platform which evoked its dual personality (urban and off-road), the car was accompanied by a showcase containing a selection of Mopar original accessories and display unit with a Fox Performance 2" lift kit. The area was completed by a video totem and specific informative materials.

The new Mopar accessories pack comprises a 2" lift kit enabling the vehicle to cope with harsh terrain in complete safety and with unbeatable off-road performances, steering stabiliser and 17" x 8.5" Performance Gladiator black alloy wheels with larger (32") tyres for optimal grip. The Pack is completed by front and rear splashguards, black fuel filler door and additional front and rear mudguards.

Achieved through an innovative industrial process - it is the first time accessories have been factory-installed in the EMEA Region - the Mopar® One Pack delivers complete customisation, guaranteed by the constructor and type-approved for sale. So this special pack is ideal for customers who demand the very best in terms of style, safety and performance. The pack is also a major part of the growth strategy for the Mopar brand, which accompanies FCA customers throughout their motoring experience, by providing technical services and support for all their performance, safety or customisation related needs.

The new model is a unique combination of spaciousness and personality and, in short, is even more 500, even more crossover and even more technological. For its launch, Mopar is offering a series of product and service solutions, so that everyone can drive a car customised according to their needs. The focus of Mopar towards customers does not stop when the car is being purchased, but continues in the service network to welcome all users with skilful professionalism, guaranteeing the utmost peace of mind for the entire life cycle of the car.

A collection of ninety-two accessories was created for the new model to enhance its versatility, optimise its functionality, increase its loading capabilities, which are already at the top of its category, address the need for safety and protection of families with children and provide solutions for customising the looks and details of the new 500L. The exciting catalogue comprises, for instance, 17-inch light alloy rims in an array of different colours and surface treatments, chrome-plated rear-view mirror caps, chrome-plated moulding on the bonnet that nods to the design of the 500 of the Fifties and special covers to customise the keys. The security and safety section of the catalogue of the new 500L features theft alarm and specific child restraint systems. In line with the space and versatility of the model, plenty of solutions are available for arranging luggage, such as protectors, nets and cargo organiser. Furthermore, in order to increase the transport capabilities of the 500L, Mopar has created handy roof carriers, such as bicycle racks, surf board racks, ski racks and boxes, which can be easily installed to carry everything you need for your hobbies.

The passenger compartment of the new 500L was designed with particular focus on comfort and ergonomics. The Mopar accessory range enhances the feeling of practicality and comfort perceived inside to the fullest. The latter is fixed between the front and rear head restraints to create a specific space which can be removed and washed very easily.

And Mopar's customer-focus continues in the service network to welcome all users with skilful professionalism, guaranteeing the utmost peace of mind for the entire life cycle of the car, also using original spare parts only.

More than 70 exclusive accessories for the EMEA region

For the new Jeep Compass, the Mopar brand has developed a collection of more than 70 unique, exclusive accessories, perfectly in tune with the new model's technical and stylistic characteristics, for a fuller, more complete personalisation reflecting  the customers' different lifestyles.
All items are top quality products, reflecting the Mopar professionals' constant commitment to innovation, attention to details and eco-friendliness. Mopar is also the only brand that can guarantee full product compatibility with FCA vehicles, and above all the safety and reliability of genuine accessories designed, manufactured and tested in partnership with the FCA brands which build these models.
The exclusive Mopar collection offers scope for personalising the new Jeep model's look, with options such as 18" and 19" alloy wheels, the double patch black bonnet decal, the door sill guard with the Jeep logo.
Features that accentuate the model's sporty soul include black rock rails and sporty automatic or manual transmission pedals; while for Jeep Compass customers whose top priority is convenience there are various modules - such as protections, nets and cargo organizer - for optimal boot loading.
For customers who make the most of their leisure time with outdoor activities, the Mopar brand has created useful accessories - including bicycle, surfboard, kayak and ski racks and boxes - which can be easily installed on the roof racks, allowing Compass drivers to have their sports gear with them at all times and in all places, with complete security.
After the launch, additional features will be available including the leather gear knob and the exclusive front bumper inserts in two colours, glossy black or chrome, for combination with roof rails available in the same colour variants; furthermore, customers will also be able to fit their car with coat hooks, tablet holder, working table anchored to the head restraints and a handy organiser behind the front seat.

UConnect with the new Jeep Skills app

Available on the UConnect Nav Live Infotainment system with 8.4" touchscreen display, Jeep Skills is the innovative app developed to provide customers with real-time information about their driving performance, and also let them put their skills to the test on specific off-road courses and share the badges they win with other drivers in the Jeep Community. What's more, Jeep Skills gives customers more in-depth knowledge of their new Jeep Compass's off-road capabilities, with a clearer understanding of just what it can do, important for using all its potential to the full. The vehicle's angle, acceleration, braking and G force, as well as the wheels' position or skid, can be monitored on the touchscreen display in real time, for more direct control and more intelligent driving.
Accessing the new services is easy: the user simply selects the new Jeep Skills app, now available in addition to Facebook | Check-In, Twitter, Deezer and the other Uconnect LIVE functions, from the Uconnect LIVE main menu.
With Jeep Skills, the user can scroll through a whole series of screens: choosing "Off Road" the driver receives real-time feedback on his driving style and performance with data on a series of specific parameters including traction, roll, roll, pitch, pressure and altitude; "Gauges" delivers information on the battery level, oil pressure, temperature and steering angle; the data on the "Dynamic" screen cover the G force, the pressure applied to the accelerator/brake pedal, and the engine oil and water temperature; and last but not least "Timers" carries performance information, including 0-50 Km/h and 0-100 Km/h acceleration, braking distance and speed.
The "Favourite" option in the "Routes" menu enables the driver to display the chosen route, access useful information about it, and display his best driving performance from those saved.
Otherwise, "My itineraries" is the function used to drive and record a personal route for recall at any future time, great for enabling drivers to challenge themselves and put their skills to the test on their favourite off-road route, after which they can just press "Send" to submit their performance to all Jeep Skills users in the Jeep Community for their comments.
Drivers also have the chance to win official badges on the basis of their driving performance and targets achieved on recommended routes. The "Badges" function shows them in all, as in a virtual 'showcase'. The various ranking levels are JEEPER, awarded on first access to Jeep Skills, EXPLORER, won by submitting a performance to the Jeep Community, and SPORT CLUB MAGGIORA, awarded on the Pragiarolo di Maggiora circuit, mapped as a recommended circuit.
Jeep Skills raises the driving experience to a completely new level, making travel and off-road challenges in the new Compass a unique, even more enjoyable, safe, connected adventure.
