Noul model al italienilor se numește Tipo și debutează pe piață în 2016. Esential = 4.51 metri este lungimea lui Fiat Tipo. 2016 este anul debutului acestui model pe piața din Europa. 120 CP va dezvolta cel mai puternic motor din oferta Fiat Tipo. Fiat Tipo a fost desemnat numele proaspătului concurent al lui Dacia Logan, Citroen C-Elysee și Peugeot 301. Modelul este o berlină proiectată la centrul turco-italian de la Bursa și fabricată la uzina Tofaș din Turcia.Inițial, cei de la Fiat au prezentat la Salonul Auto de la Istanbul noua lor berlină compactă sub numele Aegea. Denumirea Tipo a fost aleasă în defavoarea lui Aegea, Fiat motivând evocarea modelului care l-a precedat pe Bravo și care era fabricat în aceeași uzină. Italienii vor oferi motorizări care vor asigura între 95 și 120 CP în gama Tipo, fiind disponibile două propulsoare alimentate cu benzină și două diesel-uri. În premieră pentru modelele accesibile ale acestui segment, va fi oferită opțional și o transmisie cu două ambreiaje. Noul Fiat Tipo va avea o lungime de 4.51 metri, 1.78 metri lățime și 1.48 metri înălțime. Vorbim despre o mașină cu 17 centimetri mai lungă decât Logan 2, cu cinci centimetri mai lată și cu 2 centimetri mai scundă. Ampatamentul diferă cu doar un centimetru în favoarea lui Tipo. Altfel spus, încadrarea modelului italian este la limita inferioară a segmentului compact, depășind pragul clasei mici. Portbagajul lui Tipo va fi de 510 de litri, la fel de mare ca al unui Dacia Logan, mai mare decât al lui Peugeot 301 și Citroen C-Elysee. Numele Tipo va fi folosit de Fiat pentru noua lor berlină în trei volume pe aproape toate piețele pe care va fi vândut cu excepția celei din Turcia, unde denumirea Aegea, cea folosită de proiectul de dezvoltare al mașinii, s-a dovedit a fi prea populară pentru a fi înlocuită. Cei de la Fiat vor lansa noul Tipo în Decembrie în Italia, urmând ca restul de peste 40 de piețe să primească modelul progresiv pe parcursul anului 2016. Grupul FIAT colaborează cu turcii de la Koç Holding încă din 1968, când au semnat un jointventure strategic. Fiat a publicat vineri primele imagini cu noul model Argo, un hatchback subcompact care va fi disponibil inițial în special în Brazilia și alte țări din America de Sud. Potrivit unor informații neoficiale din presa locală, noul Fiat Argo are șanse să ajungă și în Europa până la sfârșitul acestui an ca înlocuitor pentru Punto, modelul subcompact care a ieșit din producție în luna ianuarie a acestui an. Pentru moment, cu excepția celor două fotografii, Fiat nu a furnizat niciun fel de detalii despre noul model, însă presa braziliană a scris în mai multe rânduri despre Argo. Astfel, acesta beneficiază de lumini LED de zi, iar în interior se poate remarca un display sub forma unei tablete. Se anticipează că noul model va avea o gamă bogată de motorizări, inclusiv o unitate cu 3 cilindri de 77 de cai putere și un propulsor de 1.3 litri și 110 de cai putere. În versiunea de top, Fiat Argo ar urma să fie disponibil cu un motor de 1.8 litri care generează 141 de cai putere. Constructorul va pune la dispoziția clienților atât cutii de viteze manuale, cât și transmisii automate, iar tehnologia stop/start va fi de asemenea disponibilă.

Italienii au lansat Fullback, un pick-up creat pe baza lui L200 Fiat pare să se axeze pe un nou segment aflat în plină dezvoltare: cel al pick-up-urilor. Noul Fiat Fullback este o interpretare italiană a noului Mitsubishi L200. Fiat a început să manifeste un apetit deosebit pentru segmentul modelelor pick-up. După ce l-am văzut pe Toro în America de Sud, facem cunoștință cu noul Fullback în cadrul Salonului Auto de la Dubai. Se pare că italienii au simțit un potențial pentru primul lor pick-up de dimensiuni medii tocmai în Orientul Mijlociu. Dacă sunteți tentați să spuneți că noul Fullback seamănă destul de mult cu un alt model din segment, adică Mitsubishi L200, nu greșiți deloc. Noul Fiat Fullback este de fapt un Mitsubishi L200 cu o altă siglă și un design interior și exterior copiat cu fidelitate. Disponibil în două variante de caroserie, cu cabină simplă și cabină dublă, noul Fiat Fullback oferă o capacitate maximă de încărcare de 1100 de kilograme. Dimensiunile vor fi diferite, lungimea fiind cuprinsă între 5155 mm (pentru single cab) și 5285 (pentru double cab). Indiferent de configurație, ampatamentul va măsura 3000 mm, adică suficient pentru nevoile de spațiu. Esential = 1100 de kilograme este capacitate de încărcare a noului Fiat Fullback. Gama de motorizări va fi și ea diferită, în funcție de piața pe care va fi comercializat pick-up-ul. În Orientul Mijlociu va exista o versiune pe benzină, de 2.4 litri, care dezvoltă 132 de cai putere. Pentru piețele care preferă dieselul, Fiat a pregătit un agregat de 2.5 litri, care dezvoltă 110, respectiv 178 de cai putere. Clienții vor putea opta între o transmisie manuală cu cinci trepte și una automată, tot cu cinci trepte. Panda record: the Natural Power car number 300.000 is produced in Pomigliano Yet another record for two Fiat Chrysler Automobiles stars: Panda - the ageless best seller of the Fiat brand, leader of the A class in Europe in 2016, with nearly 15% share, up 1.4% compared to 2015 - and the G. Vico di Pomigliano d'Arco plant, winner of several awards after its full renovation completed in 2011. Manufactured in the plant near Naples, the 300 thousandth Panda Natural Power has been celebrated by staff and is destined to be used in many events, beginning with the forthcoming International Motor Show in Geneva. No other methane-powered car in Europe has the Panda's numbers. It was the first mass produced CNG car, and from 2007 to date, has been the best selling methane car in Europe. During the same time period, behind the Panda is another Fiat car: the Punto. The record-braking Panda is a white Lounge, which will be on show with a custom made livery. Equipped with a two-cylinder TwinAir Turbo Natural Power engine, with dual petrol - methane fuel, it develops 80 HP (59 kW) and consumes 4.5 litres of petrol or 3.1 kilos of methane (per one hundred kilometres of combined cycle), with minimal CO2 emissions: 106 g/km when using petrol and 85g/km when using methane. Compared to petrol, methane reduces CO2 emissions by 23 per cent and nitric oxide emissions by 52 per cent. FCA has been the leader in Europe for petrol-methane dual fuel vehicles for twenty years, with over 700 thousand sold vehicles and a range of six Fiat brand models (Panda, Punto, Qubo, Doblò, 500L and 500L Living), one from Lancia (Ypsilon) and four from Fiat Professional: Fiorino, Doblò Cargo, Ducato and Ducato Panorama. In order to obtain real benefits in air quality, and thus sustainable mobility, we need to continue working on combined traditional and alternative technologies, keeping in mind the specific rules of each market. Among these, methane has the potential of being a renewable source thanks to biomethane, a fuel with high development potential. Biomethane denotes a bio-gas that yields a concentration of methane after a refining process (from urban, agricultural of farming waste), so that it can be used as bio-fuel for engine vehicles just like natural gas. Biomethane produces 20% less CO2 emissions than petrol. The real advantage of biomethane becomes clear when we consider the full life cycle of this fuel, the so called "well-to-wheel" cycle. In this case reduction in CO2 emissions can exceed 95 per cent, depending on the original raw material: biomethane fuelled vehicles produce the same amount of CO2 as electric cars using renewable source energy. If we consider a 40% methane-biomethane mix instead, its CO2 emissions are the same as those of an electric vehicle using energy from the energy mix of European production plants. Like all other Fiat Chrysler Automobiles methane models, the Panda Natural Power is already biomethane compatible. The Pomigliano d'Arco began production in 1972 with the Alfasud model. Over the years, its production lines churned out many models of Alfa Romeo (33 and 155, 145 and 146, 156 and 147, GT and 159) until November 2011, when Panda production began, reaching 830 thousand cars since then. In 2012, the plant obtained a Silver award in the World Class Manufacturing certification programme, as well as the Automotive Lean Production Award as Best in Europe. In 2013 - only a year later, and still within the WCM programme - the plant was certified at Gold level. A new international accolade was obtained in 2014: the Lean and Green Management Award, a testament to the progress made in optimising all "resources" needed to produce cars. The G. Vico plant continues its drive to reduce the environmental impact of production via continuous improvements, including responsible consumption of energy and water, and quality air and waste management. The legendary Ducato was born on October 23, 1981 Thirty-five years of successes and records for the emblematic Fiat Professional model that is still today one of the most popular in Europe due to its versatility, engine power and low running costs. Retracing the history of Ducato means leafing through some of the most interesting episodes of the industry. The first Ducato, an extraordinary model that revolutionised the high-capacity van market with its front-wheel drive, engine power and spacious loading area, rolled off the lines at Sevel (Società Europea Veicoli Leggeri), in Val di Sangro (Italy), on October 23, 1981. Production continues today in the largest factory for medium-to-large size vans in the EMEA Region (the five million vehicle mark was reached in 2015). Fiat Professional is celebrating the key moments of these 35 years of history with a dedicated ADV campaign, social media activities on the official Facebook page and an emotional video that will available for viewing from the morning of October 23 on the fiatprofessional.com website. The claim of the campaign that will be broadcast across all the involved channels is "We never dreamed of success. We built it" and represents the undisputed leadership of Ducato in the commercial vehicle category. Not by chance, over the years, Ducato has been progressively developed to become the benchmark and a trendsetter produced in over 10,000 variants and sold in more than 80 countries worldwide. Furthermore, the many body variants, the efficient chassis and the car-like driving has made it the go-to choice for outfitters of special purpose vehicles and camper vans. From the beginning, the first series of Ducato (1981-1990) implemented an array of innovative solutions, like the front transverse engine with traction and tank combined in a single module with the cab. These features made a variety of hitherto unprecedented models possible. The body variants included two roof heights and Van, Combi, Bus and Truck variants. The two wheelbases (2923 and 3653 millimetres) meant the van could total a load volume of 9.8 cubic metres and achieve a permissible gross weight up to 2800 kilograms. In 1984, the use of inclined shock absorbers produced a completely flat load area, and in 1985 the Maxi version increased maximum load to 3500 kilograms. Finally, in 1989, the Fiat Ducato with Steyr-Puch all-wheel drive made an appearance. Ten years after its launch on the market (1990-1994), Ducato achieved its first milestone with the second series, with the four-wheel drive making its grand début: on 1 October 1991, the 500,000th vehicle rolled off the production line. The power of the 2.5-litre turbo diesel engine was upped to 70 kW (95 HP) and an innovative propulsion system, the all-electric Fiat Ducato Elettra, was introduced for the first time. The range was complemented by the introduction of a third wheelbase (3200 millimetres). The third generation (1994-2002) was launched in 1994. CX was improved (dropping to 0.35) and a new vehicle cab design inspired by practical professional requirements was introduced: for the first time in the sector, the gear lever was incorporated into the central console rendering the central part of the floor usable and facilitating access to the cab from both doors and from the cab to the loading compartment: this improved both ergonomics and productivity. Further improvements aimed at comfort characterised the noughties. For instance, height-adjustable seats and three-spoke steering wheels were introduced on the fourth series (2002-2006) in 2002. The engine line-up of Ducato was also developed. A direct injection Common Rail engine - a major step forward in terms of performance, quiet operation and high efficiency - was adopted for the first time in 2002. Furthermore, Ducato opened the alternative fuel era with its petrol/methane engine, which laid the foundations for the success of brand as European market leader in the methane-powered van sector. The fifth generation of the Ducato joined the scene in 2006, extending the range and further increasing flexibility: it was the first front-wheel van to offer a volume of 17 cubic metres. Most of all, it set the bar in terms of efficient running and low maintenance costs, in addition to fuel efficiency and low emission levels, by offering a wide range of diesel engines implementing second-generation MultiJet technology. The sixth generation launched in 2014 boasted the greatest front axle load (up to 2100 kilograms) and greatest rear axle load (up to 2500 kilograms) for single rear axle vehicles, as well as the highest maximum load. The van version of Ducato could carry a maximum payload of 2100 kilograms. Furthermore, air suspensions on the rear axle were made available for the first time. In the beating heart of the business designed to develop serial and racing models, an area spanning approximately 900 square metres has been set up as a workshop dedicated to restoring customers' historic Abarths. The restoration activities will be carried out with a high level of accuracy and will aim to ensure that any changes faithfully recreate the original conditions of the vehicle. To ensure compliance with the original designs and mechanics, Abarth will rely on a full range of documentation, including technical drawings, which has recently been catalogued and digitalised. This will also prove useful for the purpose of certifying the authenticity of the mechanical parts (engine, gearbox, exhaust and suspension), and when defining the certification procedures, Abarth has called upon on the advice and experience of the ASI (Historical Italian Automotoclub) and FIVA. Urmașul pe linie directă al actualului Fiat Linea a fost prezentat astăzi oficial în Turcia, în cadrul Salonului Auto de la Istanbul. Noul sedan compact dezvoltat de Fiat se numește Aegea (se citește "Egeea", n.r.) și va intra pe piața din Turcia în această toamnă, urmând să fie prezent ulterior pe alte 40 de piețe pe care activează Fiat, implicit în România. Desenat de Centro Stile Fiat și produs la uzina pe care Fiat o deține în Bursa, Turcia, Noul Fiat Aegea a primit acest nume cu dedicație pentru Turcia, țară care va sprijini producția sedanului compact al mărcii italiene. Conform oficialilor italieni, Aegea este un model construit încă din start pentru a fi un sedan. faptul că nu este derivat dintr-un hatchback, așa cum se întâmplă în cazul multor modele din segment, este un avantaj mai ale la nivel de proporții, ceea ce înseamnă că designul general al acestui model nu a avut de suferit din cauza unei astfel de adaptări. 2000 de oameni au lucrat la dezvoltarea proiectului Aegea în ultimii trei ani la Tofaș R&D, centrul de cercetare și dezvoltare pe care Fiat îl deține în Turcia. Bine ați venit în interiorul noului Fiat Aegea. Esential = 120 CP va dezvolta cel mai puternic motor de pe Fiat Aegea, probabil diesel-ul Multijet II de 1.6 litri. 510 litri are portbagajul lui Fiat Aegea, aceeași capacitate cu cea a lui Dacia Logan. Este de notat faptul că liniile noului sedan italian nu seamănă cu nimic din actuala gamă a mărcii, concentrată mai ales pe variante de caroserie derivate din succesul pe care l-a avut și îl are pe piață modelul 500. Astfel, facem cunoștință cu o grilă frontală imensă, cu blocuri optice frontale legate de grilă și cu un spate dominat de blocuri optice semiovale. Fiind un sedan destinat piețelor care apreciază spațiul interior, noul Fiat Aegea oferă un ampatament foarte ridicat, de 264 de centimetri, reflectat în spațiul interior, dar și un portbagaj de 510 litri, identic cu cel pe care-l are Dacia Logan, de exemplu. Sub capota lui Fiat Aegea se vor regăsi motoare care vor oferi între 95 și 120 de cai putere, ele adresându-se atât celor care preferă benzina, cât și amatorilor diesel. Nu există detalii legate de aceste motoare, însă știm că versiunile diesel fac parte din familia Mutlijet II de eră modernă a celor de la Fiat, cel mai bun consum fiind de mai puțin de 4.0 litri/100 km. Fiat Aegea va fi un model care se va încadra cel mai probabil în zona inferioară-medie de preț în segmentul sedanurilor compacte, ceea ce înseamnă că rivalii săi vor fi Renault Fluence, Skoda Rapid și chiar Dacia Logan. Totuși, modelul Fiat nu face rabat de tehnologie. Pachetul UConnect beneficiază de un centru de control în forma unui display touch color cu diagonala de 5 inch care comandă pachetele Bluetooth, streaming-ul audio, sistemul de recunoaștere vocală, navigația TomTom și camera de marșarier.
